Transformation - Phase 2 At the end of February I closed the Studio/Gallery for good. Taking down my sign was harder than I thought it would be, I had a lump in my throat as I handed over the keys to the building and walked away. Jerome was a great place for me to grow over the past 22 years, but I'm ready for whatever comes next. The good news is I am now represented by; Mountain Trails at Tlaquepaque in Sedona 336 SR 179, Suite A-201 Sedona, Arizona 86339 800-527-6556 928-282-3225 Zen Mountain Gallery 515 Main St. Jerome, AZ 86331 928-634-5009 House of Joy 416 Hull st Jerome, AZ 86331 928-239-9330 Alamo Lake AZ Alamo Lake AZ Alamo Lake afternoon Alamo Lake afternoon Solar charging Solar charging In the photo on the right you can see my 'suitcase solar panels' The first place I chose to go was Alamo Lake AZ, which is pretty remote, but also beautiful, the birds were singing all day, and I met some interesting people. Plus there's just something about camping near the water. The weather was perfect except for a brief storm one evening. I'm now in Wickenburg (I know, exciting huh?) because I have a weird cheap campground membership and it's a safe place to leave my camper while I take care of some business in Phoenix. Soon I'll start heading further north. _____ CEA26068-B0C2-4B9C-9188-970F2C06A949 I finally got the shell on the back of my truck, now my painting gear, mountain bike and generator, all the messy stuff lives back there. So far it's working out great. My alter ego My alter ego The camper modifications continue. I couldn't seem to get the roof solar panels working, so I opened up the wall above the fridge, where the factory installed solar port comes through the roof, only to find the wires coiled up and not even capped off. It's a wonder it didn't start a fire. Jeez Lance needs to improve their quality control. They never ran the wires to the batteries, and obviously never checked that it was working properly. I ran the wires myself and now I have working solar on the roof also. I can't imagine someone who isn't mechanical trying to deal with these fuck ups from Lance. I wrote them about this one, and of course, no reply. I'll have more soon about my trials and triumphs on the road. Follow me on Facebook where I'll post some stuff each week. And if you see that I'm heading toward your area, let's get together and paint, hike, mountain bike or just share a meal. I already miss my friends in the Verde Valley, so any social life on the road is much appreciated. Also if you have some good boondocking spots you care to share, that is always welcome info. Cheers ~ Cody Stay healthy and may art bring you some peace and comfort. _____ P.S. I have updated my website. Click on any painting and you will see what gallery it is at. Prints are available as always through my website and I am still accepting commissions from the road, turnaround times are usually less than a month! www.codydelong.com {{FASO_DOMAIN_VISIBLE}} {{AM_COMPANY_NAME}} {{AM_COMPANY_ADDRESS}} {{AM_CSZ}} {{AM_COUNTRY}} Unsubscribe Sent with ArtfulMail
