The camper modifications continue. I couldn't seem to get the roof solar panels working, so I opened up the wall above the fridge, where the factory installed solar port comes through the roof, only to find the wires coiled up and not even capped off. It's a wonder it didn't start a fire. Jeez Lance needs to improve their quality control. They never ran the wires to the batteries, and obviously never checked that it was working properly. I ran the wires myself and now I have working solar on the roof also. I can't imagine someone who isn't mechanical trying to deal with these fuck ups from Lance. I wrote them about this one, and of course, no reply.
I'll have more soon about my trials and triumphs on the road. Follow me on Facebook where I'll post some stuff each week. And if you see that I'm heading toward your area, let's get together and paint, hike, mountain bike or just share a meal. I already miss my friends in the Verde Valley, so any social life on the road is much appreciated. Also if you have some good boondocking spots you care to share, that is always welcome info.
