Speaking of videos, here's a unique way to spend a little of your extra time. You could win a free print in the process, or maybe even an original Painting!
Would you make a video for me? If you own some of my work, paintings or prints, would you be willing to do a little walk through of my work in your home, and maybe talk about what prompted you to buy, or what you like about having my work in your home.
You can use your smart phone, and you don't even have to edit if you don't want to, just send me the footage and I'll do the rest. I'll show you the final vid for your approval before I share it on my website or Facebook page.
Start your video with you talking to the camera/phone and just state your first name/s, what state you live in or country, and then show us your cody art with commentary about it. If you hired me to do a commission, you might talk about what that experience was like, or maybe comment on something as simple as where you chose to hang my work in your home and what you like about that, how it changes throughout the day, etc.
Think about the lighting and time of day, try to get good footage without any glare on my paintings if you can. Do a couple of practice runs, then go for it!
For those of you who take a little time to do this for me, I'll be offering a free 8"x10" metal print from stock I have in my studio, (shipping included) for the top three efforts.
