From Idaho to Arizona

I just returned from  nearly two weeks  in Driggs, Idaho.  This is on the back side of the Tetons, west of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  I had a great time painting (and mountain biking) in that beautiful area.  There were 12 people in my workshop which went very well, and then I did the week-long plein air event which was a lot of fun.  Two of my plein air paintings from the week are pictured directly above.
Speaking of workshops, I'm told by the marketing experts that it's high time I got some testimonials on my website.  So...if there are any of you out there who have studied with me and would be willing to send a comment about your experience, from a sentence to a paragraph, please send to me directly at [email protected]
I'll publish some of your comments on the website.  I will state your first name, last initial and general area you're from, but your contact info will not be published.
I'm happy to say I just shipped two large paintings 'Night Watchman'  and 'Running Hot and Cold' to the Pearce Museum in Corsicana, Texas.  I'm honored to have been invited to participate in their show 'A New Look at the West' which runs from Sept.6 - Oct.18, 2013.
Even though I enjoyed my time in Idaho, I'm always happy to be back in Arizona, especially with autumn just around the corner.
The large photo above is 'Cascade Concerto', 24"x 36", my latest Grand Canyon painting fresh off the easel.  This painting is from the Grand Canyon just upriver from Deer Creek Falls.
Speaking of the Grand Canyon, I'll be participating once again in the 5th annual Grand Canyon Plein Air Event, Celebration of Art, from Sept. 13 - 21 at the Kolb Studio at the South Rim.  For more info click here.
As always, many of my latest paintings can be seen on my website here.
