In the top photo, I'm standing next to my latest painting of the Mile High Grill & Inn, Jerome 36"x 48". It will be installed in the Restaurant, next to the check in desk for the rooms upstairs (they have seven rooms for rent). Postcards with the painting will be printed and I'm doing a live demo there with Cody Wayne playing guitar on Saturday, March 30th from 6 - 9pm. Stop by and check out the two Cody's if you're in the area. The demo painting will be auctioned at the end of the evening, with 30% of the proceeds going to a Jerome charity.

The next photo of the Colorado River is "Magic Morning Light" 12"x 16". It's from my annual Grand Canyon rafting trip (coming up in May, can't wait) but I'm doing a three-day rafting trip on the Verde River right here at home in early April. The Verde River Artist Challenge is designed to raise awareness of the Verde River watershed environment by the Verde Valley Land Preservation group. The Challenge consists of juried artists rafting down the Verde River and painting. We'll have river guides taking us downriver and setting up camp at scenic locations. The event is three days long - April 4-6, and artists will donate a piece of work to a traveling show, with locations around the state. Work sold will help educational projects of the VVLP. Sedona Area Guild of Artists (SAGA) Invitational Exhibition, April 12-21, Sedona AZ

I've been invited by SAGA to exhibit with them at their annual show. SAGA is a group of area visual artists who are trying to redefine Sedona as a viable art market, and establish a Museum for representational art there. The show will take place in the Old Marketplace plaza at 1370 West 89A in West Sedona.

I was just notified that I will be one of only 10 artists invited back to the Zion Plein Air Event from last year.

I can hardly wait for November!
