Hi everyone, I hope your summer is going well.
Leila and I are half way through our 3 month stay in Brazil. We will come to Arizona on Oct. 10 for a one month stay, during which time I will teach a plein air workshop Oct 21-22, (contact me if interested) and I will have a show at Mountain Trails Gallery in Sedona on Nov. 3
Here in Brazil I am enjoying pleasant weather, not too hot as it is their 'winter' right now, seeing the sights, enjoying the food and meeting many of Leila's friends, all of whom have been warm and welcoming despite my lack of ability with Portuguese.
My semi open-air studio on top of the building has been mostly good, but the wind has been a problem a couple times. One night it blew things around, smearing paint all over and breaking one of my painting lights. But such is life, I cleaned it up and I continue to paint almost daily.
