I usually only send this newsletter once a month and it's only been a couple of weeks since my last one but, I am working on a new video about why people buy art, and what it means to them.
Who better to ask than you, my collectors?
So for any of you who feel like sharing, please let me know your feelings about owning my work. Why, what it means to you, has your relationship with it changed or possibly deepened over time, or really whatever comes to mind.
Anything you send me could potentially end up in the video.
I am re-engaging with my long abandoned YouTube channel, and I want to begin with something really authentic about the art we choose to own and the impact it can have in our lives.
I'll be speaking from the perspective of the artist of course, and I feel strongly about art made by humans vs. artificial intelligence for example.
Hearing your perspective about how you value the art in your home would be of great value. And, if you would like to share a photo of yourselves next to one of my paintings you own please include that too. You never know you might be on YouTube in my next video/slideshow!
