Speaking of Galleries, I want to thank Julie of Mountain Trails Gallery in Sedona. She has generously agreed to continue to carry my work even after I leave the country. I will send paintings back from Portugal after I move there, hopefully in January or February.

I'm currently in the process of navigating the bureaucratic quagmire that is the visa process, (don't get me started) just chipping away at it each week. Some of it I have no idea how long it will take or if my first applications will be approved, but that's how it goes.
Not knowing exactly how long the process will take makes my living arrangements here somewhat challenging. Soon I will sell my truck and camper, but I will still need a place to live for a month or so. fortunately I have some friends who have offered a pet sitting job for early December (thank you Dave and Christine) and then I'll spend the holidays with my Dad. After that we are wading into the unknown :)
It's a strange time for me, I'm in a state of flux, but making the most of the beautiful fall weather here in Arizona, visiting people and places I will miss, and wrapping up a couple of commissions as well.
Below are just a few shots from Portugal, which I intend to by my home for the next year or so. I think I will start out in the north, in the beautiful city of Porto. Of course, if all goes according to plan, I'll be arriving in winter, the rainy season there, but you gotta just jump in and get your feet wet, as they say.
