Long Strange Trip

Hello all, it's been many months since I sent a newsletter.
For most of 2025 I have been working on some experiments in both art
and life. This has inspired me to make a few changes in my personal
life, and part of that has included retreating from social media for
the most part, less marketing and more living joyously in the present
moment.
In short I had a great summer doing pretty much whatever I wanted to!
Professionally for part of the year, I painted a bit less as I was
traveling and working on other things.
Then I got the invitation to participate in the Celebration of Art at
the Grand canyon again. This was an unexpected honor, especially
considering I could not be there in person this year.
I got truly inspired and painted some of my best work regarding the
canyon yet. See below.
My Studio piece is called 'Morning at Saddle Camp'.
120x82cm or 47x32in. $7000 canvas wrap.
Remember half the proceeds go to benefit the canyon.

In July, I had the unique opportunity to do a 4 day road trip with my
father, our first ever just the two of us (and his dogs). We had great
weather most of the way and really enjoyed taking backroads as much as
possible on our journey from Arizona to Michigan. I will always be
thankful for the quality time we spent.

Just as we arrived in Michigan, I received a commission for 3 large
contemporary canvases, so I flew back to Arizona and completed the work
over the next few weeks.
