My Big Show!

Hi everyone,

How is 2024 treating you so far?

My last newsletter was Christmas Day, and since then I have been busy
painting for my first big Show in Porto, Portugal.

Saturday, Feb. 17 from 5-8pm

Yesterday I delivered the last of 23 paintings to Armazéns do Porto
Gallery where I'll be having my first one man show here in Europe.

I decided to exhibit a variety of styles and subject matter for this
one. I did a post with most of the paintings, and pinned it to the top
of my FB page <https://www.facebook.com/codydelong1> if you would like
to see them.

Here is the show card I made for the exhibit.

Yes, you read that right, it's also going to be my 60th Birthday Party!

I'm hoping for good weather and a great turnout. I'll post some photos
of the event next month so stay tuned.

Leila and I took a week in January to do a driving tour of Portugal.
Scroll down my FB page for some great photos of that trip. It really
was spectacular and varied.

Our normal routine Monday to Friday, starts each day at the Gym for a
couple hours. On weekends we sometimes go for a hike, and I try to
sneak in some mountain biking now and then as well. Except for the
normal age related aches and pains I'm feeling pretty good. I recently
bench pressed almost my bodyweight, not bad for a 60 year old ectomorph
(hardgainer).

And I still ride the wheels off my mountain bike.

Leila is quite impressive at 55 as well, very strong, fit and
beautiful.

I'm truly blessed.

And if all that weren't enough, I've also been working on a secret
project, which is now almost ready...

Introducing Mastering Light, my new online painting course.

Image 5514261 <https://www.codydelong.com/page/2673/masterclass>
Mastering Light - Total Artist Training.

Just like it sounds it's designed to be a comprehensive course. It's a
10 week interactive course with Live Zoom sessions, Videos, Worksheets,
assignments and more. Click on the image above for a full description.

As this will be a first run and I'm still working out some details,
I'll be looking for a few brave 'Beta Testers'. If you're willing to
give it a go, I'll give you a discount code for 50% off.

The course is not live yet, but I will start taking registrations soon,
so if you're interested, please email me (cody@codydelong.com) and I'll
put you on the primary list.

This is a culmination of my 30 years as a full time artist and
teacher, and my intention is to make it one of the best courses you can
experience. If you're a painter, I think you'll love it.

I'm hoping to launch on March 14, and I plan to start taking
reservations in the next couple of weeks.

Click on the logo/image above for more info. And remember, as a
subscriber to this Newsletter, you get 50% off the first run, email me
if interested and I'll give you your code when the registration goes
live.

Until next time...Cheers

Cody
