Our travels and a question for you Travel always inspires me, it's one of the best ways to recharge the creative batteries as they say. In this case is was also our Honeymoon. Leila and I spent a few days in Barcelona to celebrate our wedding. It's only an hour and a half flight from Porto, and we walked all over the city. We enjoyed may of the iconic destinations, but we both felt the little alleys and narrow streets with unique shops and restaurants were the best part for us. I also loved the architecture and Leila commented on the balconies draped in greenery all over the city. Most of us are thinking about our plans for the coming year, and for working artists it's especially vital. We spend a lot on travel, setting up for shows and classes, buying materials, lodging etc. In October I'll be traveling back to Arizona to prepare for a show at Mountain Trails Gallery in Sedona on Nov. 3 - Mark your calendars! I'll be painting in the gallery the week or so before, so stop in if you can. I just shipped 5 new paintings to Mountain Trails Gallery . You can see some of what they have by clicking on the gallery name in yellow, above. While I'm in town I'm planning on teaching a workshop, probably a three day workshop. I was thinking about two days plein air and wrap it up with one day in the studio. I have a little studio space available in Cottonwood, near Sedona. So... I know it's a bit early to be thinking about October but, how many of you think you would be interested in my workshop? No need for any solid commitment right now, I'm just curious about the interest level. Also I added a classes page and my videos page back to my website for those who are interested. Below is some new work I have in my humble little studio at the moment. As a subscriber you get first look and first offer on my new works.
