Happy New Year!
I hope you had a nice Christmas, hopefully you got to see some family,
or maybe you had some much needed quiet time to recharge your batteries.
This was the first time in many years that I was not in the USA with
friends and family for the holidays. For me it was a very different
experience. I miss sharing time with my friends and family, but I'm
excited to have my first Christmas with my new family, let me explain.
Many of you who follow me on social media may already know that I got
married recently. I spent Christmas with my beautiful wife Leila and
her daughters Isabela and Giovana at home. We had a nice meal together,
drank some wine, played cards and simply enjoyed each other's company.
We also spent one night in Vigo, Spain a few days before Christmas to
walk around and see the lights and the outdoor market they have there
during the holidays. It was beautiful, and just an hour and a half
drive from Porto.

I hope you had a good time with family this year. And now that they've
gone home, it's time to think about the year ahead and what's important
to you. How are you going to honor yourself in 2023?
You probably have some healthy goals in mind like eating better,
walking the dog more, or simply saying no to that annoying neighbor :)
Maybe you have some thoughts about your home and want to bring some new
life in with a splash of color, or a scene that brings you joy and
reminds you that there is still a lot of beauty in the world to enjoy.
I'm preparing to ship some new paintings to Mountain Trails Gallery
in Sedona AZ. You
can see what they have by clicking on the gallery name in yellow,
above.
And here is some new work I have in my studio at the moment.
If you're not seeing what you want, remember I do commissions, and it's
a great time to get just the right size and scene for your space.
