I hope this note finds you well and enjoying the dog days of summer. Half way through August and the time is flying by.
Last month I got my residency permit, and last week I got my Utente, which is to say that I'm now registered in the health care system. I'm required to maintain private health care insurance, but I can also use the free system now as well.
Making a living here is proving to be more challenging than I thought but my quality of life is so good overall, I really can't complain. I have added a Patron bar to my website, prints are available anytime from my website and I'm still accepting commissions also. Thank you to my collectors past and future for allowing me to continue this amazing journey, I am blessed.
I continue to be amazed by the volume of rewarding discoveries and experiences I'm having here. More on that in a future newsletter, but first here's a new painting I just finished of the Vermillion Cliffs near Lee's Ferry after a rain when the desert was still damp.
