Fall is here and the leaf raking begins! I have 5 large trees covering the two yards I maintain and they produce truckloads of leaves. I'll be raking for the next couple of months. I do appreciate the shade they provide all summer, so I can't complain. Autumn signals a changing of the chores, from watering to raking.
It's also a change of mindset for most of us and this year especially perhaps, a relief that summer is over and a hope that life returns to something more normal. The election will soon be over (hopefully) and most of us will be making holiday plans soon. I hope this finds you well and making some fun plans for yourself too.
My father is undergoing shoulder replacement surgery today, and if all goes well I hope to visit him in December. Due to Covid I have not visited in nearly a year, which is far too long.
