What's your new normal?
Hello everyone,
What's your new normal?
Send me a note and let me know if you are back to work, or what kind of
restrictions are in effect in your area.
Are galleries in your area closed, open, having shows, or only open by
appointment?
Here in Arizona the heat is on.
Both the summer heat, wild fires, and covid cases.
Despite all of this Jerome remains open like all of Arizona. More towns
are now requiring mask wearing in public, which is fine with me though
I try not to judge those who don't. Life is short and I choose to live
it as positive as I can. Some days I'm more successful than others, but
despite everything I still feel blessed to have my art to keep me sane
and grounded.
I'm also thankful for my collectors. Three times in the last month,
just as I was feeling a bit discouraged, someone came in and purchased
paintings. Even on days when the world seems to be on fire, there are
those who find value in art. I think we need it now more than ever.

In other painting news...
This past weekend I painted Linnea's deck. It was 102 in the shade, but
with a light breeze and low humidity it wasn't that bad, though I had
to move quick as the paint was drying pretty fast :-)
Good luck to us all, and let's try to be good to each other. You never
know what someone else is going through.
I currently have limited hours in Jerome. Wed - Sat from noonish until
4ish. Stop in if you're in the area, we are sanitizing daily and it's
usually pretty easy to maintain social distancing.
