River Trip May 17-24, 2021

I have the new dates for 2021. May 17-24. I'm not sure how many more times I will do this trip specially designed for plein air artists, so if you ever wanted to go, sign up now. Approximate cost is $2900 per person.

Note; there is a $300 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit required!!!

I've been asked to Jury a Show for the

Tubac Center of the Arts

I've been asked to jury a show at the Tubac Center for the Arts. The show is called 'Shock of the New West' and runs from Jan 10 (opening night) through Feb. 16, 2021.

In addition to jurying this event I will have a large and varied display of work in the 'Masters Gallery'. It's an honor to be invited to do this event.

Zion - Nov 8-10

I'll be heading to Zion soon as one of 11 invited artists for the 100th anniversary event. Here is a link to the Zion Catalog. My work begins on page 28. Oh, and they also used a photo of me doing my demo from last year on page 8.

Kolb Studio Grand Canyon

The Celebration of Art continues at the famous Kolb Studio on the south rim of the Grand Canyon through January. Here's a link to my page of their website. Some of the photos on my page are not great so the image above gives you a better feel for what's still available.

Now when you click on any thumbnail of a painting to enlarge it, then click on 'more info' below the image, you will see the 'Room' feature. Click on Room, and select the type of room and wall color and you can get a feel for how the painting would look in a room. It gives a nice sense of scale if nothing else. It's fun give it a try!
