Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon event was a lot of fun, and a lot of work. Getting up at 5am and painting along the rim from sunup to sundown for a week straight is not for the faint of heart. I did more than 20 paintings last week, though not all of them were successful :-)
Of those that did work out, many are still on display at Kolb Studio in Grand Canyon Village until January. Thanks to all of you who purchased paintings on opening weekend.
Workshops
October 18-20 - Plein Air to Studio - $325
Expand your creative language with this fun and informative three day workshop. we will have one day of plein air painting in Jerome, one day of plein air painting in Sedona, and on the final day we will head into the studio to enlarge one of our plein air studies. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the different thought process between the plein air and studio mindset.
There are still few spots left, so if you're considering painting one of the most beautiful areas of the country, now is the time, come join us.
More information about the workshop, and registration can be found
here.
